About Coach Elias

Ph.D Exercise & Nutritional Sciences (Spring 2028)

M.S. Exercise Science - Strength & Conditioning

B.S. Health & Kinesiology

Certified Personal Trainer

Coach Elias has fused together what it is to be a fitness coach and scientist. He has been coaching athletes for over a decade, has a Bachelor of Science in Health & Kinesiology (Purdue University), a Master of Science in Exercise Science - Strength & Conditioning (University of South Florida), and will begin his PhD. in Exercise & Nutritional Sciences (Arizona State University) this August, 2024. His passion he shares with the world is developing others by applying science-based exercise, nutrition, psychology, and stress management so they may live happier and healthier lives.

Coach Elias first opened his business when he was just 15 years old, after his close friend John wanted help losing weight to make the high school baseball team. With the mentorship of his physical therapists/wrestling/bodybuilding coaches, Elias and John put together a plan that would safely and efficiently help John lose 50 lbs in 6 months and make the baseball team. Elias was hooked. Not just because of John’s amazing transformation, but because John felt happier and healthier both physically and mentally.

Fast forward 12 years, Elias has instructed biomechanics circus lifting, coached wrestling, and was the Lead Personal Trainer at Purdue’s France A. Cordova Recreational Sports Center overseeing over 50 personal trainers in his undergrad. He was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at USF developing and instructing curriculum on exercise, nutrition, stress management, and research. During his master's program, Elias worked in the university's Human Performance Lab (directed by Dr. Nic Martinez) as the Lead Metabolic & Body Composition Specialist, in the Muscle Lab (directed by Dr. Samuel Buckner), and in the Human Functional Performance Lab (directed by Dr. Irene Davis) as a research assistant.

Elias is now a PhD in Exercise and Nutritional Sciences student at Arizona State University (mentored by Dr. Jason Siegler), serves as a graduate research associate (awarded the Presidential Graduate Assistantship) in the Integrative Human Performance Lab (directed by Dr. Siegler), and coaches athletes in a variety of disciplines all over the United States.

My Training Philosophies

Be Tenacious

Are you tired, or uninspired? Uninspired, you will make excuses and settle. Fueled by passion, you will make excuses to achieve. Live a life of passion and, with effort, anything is possible.

Be Evidence-Based

Is there evidence to support your claims? Where does the research meet the weight room? Scientific mechanisms or experience alone won’t get you there. The synergy of applying scientific research for real world application is how my athletes train smarter, recover faster, and see results sooner.

Be Limitless

How confident are you in your ability to move mountains? Only you have the power to decide what you can and can't become in this world. Decide for yourself that you deserve better, that you can do better, and that you will be better.
